Don't judge a book by it's cover – Part 1

I read a book recently, well two actually, but one book I couldn't put down, it excited me and I wanted to read it from cover to cover in one go. Nothing new in that, however, this was not a work of fiction, oh no, it was factual and interesting and made me think.
The book was recommended to me by a colleague, otherwise it would not have been on my radar, but being keen to learn I thought I'd give it a go.

The book talks about nutrient dense food and that it's not about how much you eat but what you eat. Nutrient dense foods are foods that your body obtains maximum nourishment from, food that will keep you satisfied for longer and cravings become a thing of the past.

In a Facebook post I mentioned that I had made some changes to my diet swapping skimmed for semi-skimmed and put butter back on the menu but I also looked at what foods I was eating and their nutrient density. The result was I ate too much pasta, rice and bread – a diet high in carbohydrate but low in nutrient density. So I have switched to a low carbohydrate, high nutrient dense diet. It has meant changing a lot of habits but it has been worth it.

Result – lost 5 lbs without trying, gone are the 10 o'clock hunger pangs, increase in energy levels, bloating is a thing of the past, cravings – what are they?

I know you want to know what the book is called.......................
